To assist with US Customs Formalities and interact with other Govt. Agencies in relation to clearing goods through US Customs, our customs broker requires a POA from the Importer of Record.
The importer of record (IOR) is whoever is being declared as the importer of the goods on the customs entry using their applicable Tax ID or Customs Assigned.
Based on who the importer of record is, requires the following information for completion of the POA.
Once received, our broker will type the POA and send it directly to the IOR for them to sign and return to the broker.
